Me encanta el detalle de la cascada de cremalleras que empieza en la espalda, fluye por la parte frontera de la pieza y rodea las caderas. Gracias a que el vestido está disponible en Bergdorf Goodman podemos apreciar los detalles mejor que en la pasarela.
Love the detail of the zipper cascade that start on the back, flows down the front part of the dress and surrounds the hips. Thanks to Bergdorf Goodman we can appreciate this fab detail better than on the catwalk photos.

While Kate's dress was tailor made for her. "It’s his green line. This dress is in his regular [Spring] line but he made this for me for this event. I told Phillip I really liked this dress, but I know he has a green line, so I asked if it was possible to make it green and he said absolutely. This is some hemp, some organic silk, recycled zippers, and it’s been hand-dyed in natural dyes. What’s so great about it is a lot of people think green clothing can be boring or granola-ish. The reason I loved it is it shows how you can make an interesting design 100 percent green."

I admit the questions were not easy. But since what you've been asking me for, among others, was to share with you more coincidences I found and déjà vu that were not massively talked about, those that were not "discovered" yet but are worth a mention, I just thought this first trio would be a nice start of 2009. Aunque se trata del mismo modelo, creo que el corsé de Solange es el mismo que se ha visto durante la presentación de la colección, y la versión de Rihanna, menos adornada, ha sido hecha a medida para la cantante.
Even though both corsets are the same style, I think Solange's is the one seen during the catwalk while Rihanna's a bit less adorned version was tailor made for the singer.

Hoy volveremos al Dior Angel Club pues tiene más socias de lo que parecía. Y no me extraña pues esta joyita -y da igual is en forma de zapato cerrado o sandalia- es una verdadera delicia. Y esta no es una indirecta para mi marido. Es una directa, baby :o)

Ya lo ves... parece que no puedo vivir sin vosotr@s. Pues eso... que no. ¿Y qué pasa? ;o) En vez de estar terminando una presentación (tendré que hacerlo esta noche entonces), estaba "espiando" las Sxy Fashion Queens que en estos días volaron a Paris para atender las pasarelas. Como me hubiera gustado estar ahí, por lo menos en las de Valentino y Galliano. ¡Qué envidia! Y no, no es la envidia que en España se denomina "la envidia sana", es la envidia pura y dura. Y me pregunto, ¿existe la envidia sana? ¿No es parecido a estar casi embarazada o tener unos zapatos negros y llamarlos blancos? You see... it seems I can't live without you. So yes... I can't. And so what? :o) Instead of finishing a presentation (I'll have to do it this night then), I've been "spying" the Sxy Fashion Queens that flew to Paris to attend the catwalks. I would have loved being there, at least at the ones of Valentino and Galliano. I'm so jealous! And no, this is not what in Spain is called "healthy envy", no this is the pure and absolute envy. I've been asking myself, does something like healthy envy exist? Isn't it like being almost pregnant or having black shoes and calling them white?

Cuando vi la pieza rosa en la pasarela, tenía curiosidad por quién va a ser la primera chica en lucirlo, si es que, dado el carácter tan peculiar de la prenda, alguien se atreve. Lucy se etrevió, pero no me acaba de convencer la combinación con el vestido de lazos. ¿Qué opinas? Lucy, as we're getting used to, the most daring. Me da igual si es por reforzar su nueva imagen de fashionista que le otorgaron los creadores de Cashmere Mafia o realmente le ha cogido el gustillo a eso de lucir modelitos que no pasan desapercibidos. Lucy Liu se lo está currando o por lo menos eso es lo que me parece y me gusta. I don't care whether this is in order to reinforce her new image of fashionista she was given by the creators of the Cashmere Mafia serie, or she started to love that rocking outfits that don't pass unnoticed thing. Lucy Liu is tryig hard or at least this is what it seems to me and I love it.

Intenta no faltar en la primera fila en sus desfilés (el bolso de Demi también es del diseñador) y son precisamente sus creaciones que elige para muchos eventos de carpeta rojas. Talking about Zac Posen, is one of Lucy's favourite designers. She tries not to miss any front row of his catwalks (the oversized cluch of Demi's is by Zac as well) and she choses his creations for a lot of red carpet events.
