Jessica Simpson Gonna Spoil Sister Ashlee's Baby

Jessica Simpson can't wait for Ashlee to give birth. "I'm going to spoil the kid rotten, that's for sure," she tells Yo on E!. "I think my sister's going to be pretty strict, actually, because she's been so good throughout her pregnancy." The country singer, 28, says she still can't believe her 23-year-old sister's about to be a mommy. "She's just such a woman," Jessica says. "I'm like, 'Oh, my gosh - what's happened to my sister?'"

She denies that Ashlee and husband Pete Wentz will be on double diaper duty this fall. "Definitely not twins!" Jessica tells E! As for her own romance with beau Tony Romo, she says they have entered a new chapter in their lives: He's singing! "We work on it," she says, adding that Tony often sings her tune "You're my Sunday" (which she wrote for him) "at the top of his lungs.” Despite criticism she got for jinxing Tony's career ("that was absolutely ridiculous," she says), she plans on cheering him on again this season. "Of course, I will," Jessica says. "I might be wearing prosthetics."

Ashlee Simpson Opens Up On Getting Ready For Baby

With her budding belly growing each day, Ashlee Simpson gushed to ET Canada about baby prep and marital bliss. The singer, who confirmed the pregnancy back in May, says she and husband Pete Wentz have been knee-deep in baby-proofing their Hollywood home.

"We're getting the nursery ready," said Ashlee. "I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun. I have the greatest husband. He's so awesome. It's fun to have somebody that I love to do this with."

Having her family around has been comforting too. "My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice," said Ashlee, "but it's one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away."

Other things on their to-do list? Picking a baby name. But Ashlee says they haven't settled on one yet. After joking about calling their kid "Orange," Ashlee said, "I don't think it's something we'll decide until the baby comes."

She's also been writing a few new tunes, but won't jump back into the studio until her little bundle is born. "The baby is my main focus right now," she says. "We're both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life."

Pete Wentz is speaking out for the first time since his weekend wedding to Ashlee Simpson. "We have signed a pre-nup," the newlywed rocker admitted on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday. (Ashlee was asleep, he said.) He said "she legally is a Wentz ... I don't know what she'll do with her stage name, that's up to her. She hasn't decided that."

He said they're skipping out on a honeymoon (for now) and have been hanging out in their basement in L.A. "We got some blow-up palm trees," Pete said. "A little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We're eating DiGiorno's pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while, it's great.” So how is married life? "I feel great!" he said. "It is sunny and 65 in my head."

Pete still refused to confirm Ashlee's pregnancy. When Ryan asked why they decided to wed now, Pete replied, "I get the backdoor question you're asking me, but it's been something we've been planning for a long time. I gave her a promise ring four months ago." Ryan later asked if he's thought about baby names. Pete laughed. "Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed," he said. "The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees."
