Chris Brown can’t be having much fun.

Now that they’re bridging My Super Sweet 16 and Nil By Mouth, Rihanna and Chris Brown can’t be having much fun.

Christopher Maurice Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, music video director and actor.

He made his recording debut in late 2005 with Chris Brown at the age of 16. The album featured the hit single "Run It!", which topped the Billboard Hot 100, making Brown the first male artist to have his debut single to top the chart. The album has sold over two million copies in the United States and was certified double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

But it’s OK - Ne-Yo’s fixing it. Ne-Yo has decided that the photo of Rihanna’s smashed face and Chris Brown’s arrest and subsequent apology don’t tell the whole story, so he’s decided to act as an R&B intermediary between the pair of them.

Ne-Yo’s plan is already in effect - he’s spoken to Rihanna and apparently she’s ‘fine’ - and next he’ll talk to Chris Brown. He may even use the word ‘Bruh’ if things get heavy. Don’t mess with Ne-Yo.

The best thing about Chris Brown being arrested for allegedly attacking Rihanna until she needed hospital treatment is that there are no end of celebrities willing to wade in with their take. Literally every celebrity on Earth has decided to share their opinion about Chris Brown - Roseanne, that woman who sometimes hangs around with Oprah Winfrey - all of them.

Trouble is, none of them have been Ne-Yo. Ne-Yo is different. Ne-Yo loves women. Ne-Yo called his last album The Age Of The Gentleman so he’s obviously a gentleman - even though to listen to the album is to understand that his idea of gentlemanly conduct involves having a testicle amputation and then crying a lot.

Ne-Yo was named after the Neo character from The Matrix, whose name was an anagram of ‘one’. Technically Ne-Yo’s name is spelt differently, so it’s only an anagram of ‘oney’ which doesn’t make sense - but that’s beside the point. The point is that Ne-Yo understands.

How much does Ne-Yo understand? Enough for him to be able to sort out this mess between Rihanna and Chris Brown singlehandedly, that’s how much. Ne-Yo is friends with both Rihanna and Chris Brown, so he’s decided to get to the bottom of all those bruises on her face the only way he knows how - via the medium of agonised heart-to-hearts.

Ne-Yo has already had a discussion with Rihanna about the incident, as MTV reports:

“I spoke to Rihanna. She says she’s fine. She didn’t go into detail about what happened. I understand it’s a painful situation; I didn’t push.”

Phew, thank goodness that’s sorted out. Honestly Ne-Yo, you’re wasted as a girl-voiced R&B singer. You should be a private detective or a police superintendent or something. If only people had applied this innovative ‘don’t push’ and ‘no details’ investigative methods at the start of this case, Rihanna might have avoided all this mess.

Meanwhile, Ne-Yo hasn’t spoken to Chris Brown. But he’s going to, and he knows exactly what he’s going to say:

“I haven’t had a chance to talk to Chris yet. I just wanna sit down and talk to that dude and just explain if he doesn’t understand: ‘That’s not something that’s excusable, bruh. You have to get a little smarter about whatever it is going on in your relationship. You have to get a little smarter about how you handle certain situations.’”

Obviously this will be all the punishment that Chris Brown needs and, having been called ‘bruh’ by Ne-Yo, there’ll be no need for him to go to prison or anything like that.

Chris Brown can’t be having much fun.

The Reloaded edition of the album has yielded eight singles, including "Umbrella", "Don't Stop the Music" and "Take a Bow".
Rihanna's family is opening up about the relationship between Rihanna and Chris Brown after an alleged altercation before the Grammy Awards that left Rihanna injured and Brown arrested.
One family member told People.com that Brown "flew so far under everyone's radar that we just didn't think he was that [abusive] type." The relative added that the news comes as a surprise because "he was always looking after her needs making sure she was happy."
The relative agreed with Rihanna's dad, Ronald Fenty, who thinks his superstar daughter should "move on" from the relationship. "I don't want her to go back to him," the family member said. "I don't think anyone does."
Earlier this week, Kimora Lee Simmons, who was showing her line Baby Phat during New York Fashion Week, spoke about the incident with The Associated Press, saying she saw the pair earlier in the night before news broke.
"I saw them that night ... and I think it's a very unfortunate situation," she said. "And I wish them both all the best and I send them my love and I'm very personally attached to both of them. And sometimes I think young lovers go through things and I really don't know what happened, so I wish everybody the best."
Ray J, who was at the fashion show supporting Simmons, said he and Brown are good friends and sends prayers out to the pair. "I've got a chance to hang out with them a couple of times, and, you know, they're cool people. Keep your head up," he told the AP. "You know things like this happen in life. And in life, sometimes these are the tests and obstacles that you got to overcome."

The female on the picture isn't Rihanna??

A photo that appears to be Rihanna's face with bruises, scratches and swelling from an attack allegedly at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown was posted Thursday night by the celebrity Web site TMZ.

Immediately after a photo that appears to be of a bruised Rihanna leaked to the Web on Thursday, fans began commenting on this latest development surrounding the incident that took place between Rihanna and Chris Brown on Grammy weekend.
An LAPD statement has since been released saying that the photo "has the appearance of one taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation," all but confirming that it is a picture of Rihanna. But some fans questioned the authenticity of the photo, claiming that it looks Photoshopped.
"The female on the picture isn't Rihanna!!!" Spmuscle wrote. "It's a fraud." But Realitylover countered, "Photoshopped my a**! That is just terrible."
Some fans said they felt saddened by the picture and surprised by the extent of her injuries. "I can't believe what he did," Jeeze488 wrote. The sentiment was echoed by another fan. "OMG!!!" KFCMuffin said. "I saw those pics and I wanted to cry. ... Chris Brown left her in pretty bad shape."
The close-up image shows a welt above each of the woman's eyebrows, marks on her cheek and around her lips, and general swelling. TMZ did not say how it obtained the photo, when it was taken or by whom.
Hours after the photo was posted, the Los Angeles Police Department launched an internal investigation and asked for the public's help in finding the person who leaked it. A police news release said the image "has the appearance" of one taken during a domestic violence investigation, and classified its release as a case of serious misconduct that could result in termination.
Asked earlier Thursday whether he could confirm the photo's origin, LAPD Officer Jason Lee said only that the department had not released images of the woman who accused Brown, and would not release evidence photos. A spokeswoman for the district attorney said all evidence related to the case was still with police.
Brown was arrested Feb. 8 and booked on suspicion of making felony criminal threats to a woman that authorities have not publicly identified. A person familiar with the situation, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter and requested anonymity, confirmed that the woman was Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty.
The person said some of the injuries shown in the photo — specifically the marks on the woman's forehead — were consistent with the injuries Rihanna sustained.
Prosecutors have asked police to provide more information before deciding what charges, if any, to pursue against Brown. Police have said the 19-year-old singer could face domestic violence charges if prosecutors think they are appropriate.
An Associated Press photo of Rihanna, taken before the party on the night of the incident, shows her with a tattoo of Roman numerals on her left shoulder; the TMZ photo shows the same numerals on the same shoulder. TMZ had previously used its site to debunk a manipulated image that depicted Rihanna with a black eye.
No public statement has been issued on behalf of Rihanna, who turns 21 on Friday. Email and telephone messages left late Thursday with representatives for both Brown and Rihanna were not immediately returned.
Brown released a statement on Sunday, which read in part, "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired." The statement, which did not mention Rihanna, said Brown was consulting with loved ones, his mother and pastor.
Brown's arrest came roughly 18 hours after he and Rihanna left a pre-Grammy party honoring music mogul Clive Davis. According to police, Brown and a woman were involved in an altercation in a car traveling through the upscale Hancock Park neighborhood shortly after midnight. Police have said the woman had visible injuries, and that Brown was gone from the scene when they arrived.
