Since four years ago, Taylor Swift indeed almost have no free time for herself. Busy on recordings, tours, and the press conference make Taylor have no time for herself. When have the time to be alone, Taylor have a quite bit odd hobby. Taylor Swift like to chat with herself and she could not do that unless she really was alone.

"A lot of fantastic things we can do when we're alone," she said. Last October Taylor Swift has just released an album titled SPEAK NOW. "We can walk around the house and talk to ourselves and, singing what's on our mind. Looks like I just did that huh?" Taylor Swift said again as quoted by Contact Music.


Fortunately, though had a strange hobby, Taylor Swift not among those who liked acting. Even Taylor admitted didn't have enough courage to do something a little 'brave' because she did not want to get into trouble. And now, even she was already 21 years old, she still not consider this age as a 'gate of freedom'. Although at this age, Taylor Swift free legally consume alcohol but in fact she choose to spent his time watching some concert than drink an alcohol

Taylor Swift to come up with her first fragrance

After wooing everyone with her beautiful tracks, 'Love Story' girl Taylor Swift is all set to spread her fragrance as she is preparing to launch her first signature scent.

She is working with Elizabeth Arden to come up with her perfume.

“I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory…the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts,” People Magazine quoted Swift as saying.

“Lately I’ve been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I’m really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance,” she added.

The singer is involved in all aspects of the fragrance, from its notes to packaging and advertising.

Though, there’s no word yet on what precisely ‘eau de Taylor’ will smell like, people will come viz a viz with the perfume, when it launches in the fall of next year.

Taylor Swift rides high into Grammy night

Taylor Swift has been playing in the major leagues only a short time, yet her trophy case would make even the New York Yankees jealous.

Think that's an exaggeration? Consider that 20-year-old Swift has received 78 major award nominations and won 48 times since breaking through in 2006. This includes winning six American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and five Country Music Television Awards. Back in November, Swift, then just 19, took home five Country Music Association Awards — including the genre's most prestigious prize, entertainer of the year.

Now, she stands to add to that total — in a big way — with nominations in eight categories Sunday night at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards. Swift (who previously had but one Grammy nomination to her name) has the second most nominations of the night, trailing only Beyonce's 10, and they include three of the biggest fields — record, song and album of the year.

Not that awards shows are the only forum for Swift's success. Her two CDs, "Taylor Swift" and 2008's "Fearless," have sold millions of copies and she's scored more Top 40 singles than any other female artist this millennium. She's also quickly proven to be a legitimate draw at the gate, as her ongoing "Fearless Tour" — set to touch down April 11 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose — has been drawing capacity crowds across the country.

"It's a meteoric rise not unlike what we've seen in recent years with the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus," remarks Rob Evans, editor of TicketMaster's music news Web site, LiveDaily.com. "What's interesting about Swift, though, is that it's easy to picture her playing concert halls for years and years."

Indeed, Swift seems unlike anything else we've seen in pop music history. There have been acts — especially those that appeal to a younger demographic — that rise from seemingly nowhere to dominate the charts (and often fade equally as fast). There have also been musicians who have won big at award shows or earned rave reviews from critics. Yet, it's hard to name anyone other than Swift who has so quickly managed to accomplish both.

Swift was first embraced by country crowds that cheered on her debut single, the 2006 ode to hunky cowboy "Tim McGraw." Her music then began to spread via the Internet — rare for a country artist — and was eagerly gobbled up by non-country listeners. In particular, she connected with Hannah Montana fans, young teens and early twentysomethings, who had no problem identifying with the personal lyrics and stories in her mostly puppy-love songs.

"I think Taylor's advantage is that she is a singer-songwriter," says Nate Deaton, general manager of the Bay Area country music station KRTY 95.3 FM. "A lot of people try to relate to that 13- to 25-year-old audience. Well, it's pretty darn hard to relate to that audience unless you are one of them.

"Swift wrote her songs from that perspective, and I think that's what appeals to the audience. It's believable because it doesn't come from a 35-year old."

With that crucial younger demographic and a solid country following at her feet, Swift then went on to conquer the rest of the world. Her songs quickly crossed over from country radio to garner much airplay on other formats, and soon millions of pop fans were singing Swift's praises. Critics, traditionally skeptical of anything so overwhelmingly endorsed by the general public, also fell under Swift's spell.

Geoffrey Himes, the noted writer who has organized the Nashville Scene publication's annual Country Music Critics Poll since its inception in 2000, was joyous in recounting what it was like to see Swift in concert.

"I caught the first show of her summer tour at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, and I was astounded all over again by her improbable combination of good writing, good singing, good looks and strong presence," he wrote in the essay accompanying the most recent critic's poll. "Maybe she's had some vocal problems on award shows, but on that night in June she sounded like the best thing to happen to American pop music in a long time as she delivered one of the truest songs about adolescence ('Fifteen') I've ever heard."

Regardless whether Swift wins big at Sunday's Grammy Awards, her biggest challenge will be in trying to sustain her popularity as she — and her fans — graduate to adulthood. That's no easy task for a young act — just ask Hanson, Debbie Gibson or Tiffany— but it's one that Swift seems well prepared to handle.

"Though she's still very young, she's already a veteran performer, and she's already a songwriter," Evans says. "To develop a deep fan base, it's important to put the work in, and she's put the work in. Her publicity machine has been amazing, but her music seems more personal and less disposable than that of many of today's other young stars."

Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban Get Well Wishes From Their Nashville Pals

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban may have just welcomed daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban yesterday, but she's already getting a warm, country welcome from her parents' friends.

Country music star Ronnie Dunn, of Brooks & Dunn, celebrated the Fourth of July with the couple at his home in Nashville, where Nicole Kidman told the singer she was ready to pop. "Nicole told me Friday night that she was hoping that my fireworks would do it," Dunn says. "I'm overjoyed for them."

Fellow country singer and good friend, LeAnn Rimes, says she knows the couple "will be wonderful parents. Nicole and Keith are two of the most kind, caring people I know. I am thrilled for them."

Country singer Taylor Swift was vacationing in Hawaii when she got the news, and she excitedly took to her blog. "Even just thinking about it now, I'm tearing up because I'm so happy for them," she wrote on her MySpace page.

The country phenom added that Nicole and Keith– both Aussie imports – have been welcome additions to the Nashville scene. "They're such incredible people," she gushed. "Nicole Kidman came to Nashville and treated everyone with grace and respect, and has always been so humble. I'm overjoyed for them."

American Idol's Michael Johns was also thrilled for the new parents when PEOPLE broke the news to him. "That's awesome!" he enthused Monday before the A.I. tour stop at the L.A. Staples Center. (The Australian native has become fast friends with the superstar twosome.) "They're genuinely a happy couple – it's not a Hollywood thing," he said. "They really, really do love each other. So anytime a baby can be born into that situation, it's pretty cool."

Taylor Swift To Have Cameo In Pal Miley's Hannah Montana Movie

Taylor Swift is teaming with Miley Cyrus and dad Billy Ray Cyrus for Hannah Montana: The Movie, Taylor tells PEOPLE. "I'm making a cameo," says the 18-year-old, "so I'm so excited about that. I'm playing one of my own songs and just in the background of one of the scenes."

Although one of country's hottest new stars, Taylor doesn't mind sharing the spotlight in the Disney feature. "I'm just like the bar band, which is kinda fun." Expressing her anticipation, Taylor adds, "I'm just really excited about it because it's really cool when some of my little fans will come up with a Hannah Montana shirt on, and I want to be like, 'Guess what? I get to be in that movie with her!' "

Taylor, appearing on Monday's Today show, also spoke highly of her pal. "Miley Cyrus is awesome. I love her so much. She is so incredibly funny and sweet!" Taylor gushed. "It's fun to get to see her, because we both have been on the road constantly, and with us both in Nashville now, it will be cool to get to hang out with her."

Country group Rascal Flatts will also appear in the movie, which is set to hit theatres in 2009 and deals with Montana's taking a trip with her father to her Tennessee hometown, where she gains a perspective on her double life.

Taylor Swift Admits She Is A Neat Freak And Had A Crush On The Hansons

Most teenagers like having a messy bedroom, but 18-year-old Taylor Swift can't stand it. "I'm sort of a neat freak," she told GAC network's Celebrity Close Up host Lorianne Crook on June 5 for a show airing this summer. "I need the bed to be made.” She adds, “It's kind of interesting because that kind of defies the whole musician thing, I think we're supposed to be messy ... but I need everything to be neat and put away and organized."

Although Taylor misses "being alone" when she's on tour, she said her relationship with her parents has only strengthened while being out on the road. "My mom and I have always been really close," she said. "She's always been the friend that was always there. There were times when, in middle school and junior high, I didn't have a lot of friends. But my mom was always my friend. Always."

And as for her dad, he's the ultimate fan his ACM award-winning and Grammy-nominated daughter. "My dad is like a kid in a candy store walking around my concerts. He walks around with guitar picks in his pocket and gives them to people. And he sells t-shirts in the t-shirt booth."

Later in the show, Taylor dished on her childhood celebrity crush. "I think I was in love with all of the members of Hanson. I thought I was going to marry the middle one because his name was Taylor, too," she said. "I recently met him and his wife a few weeks ago, and they're lovely people. And I was kinda like telling him that story but trying not to creep him out. It's a fine line."

Some Updates On Some Country Stars

Faith Hill will release her first Christmas album, Joy to the World, this year, according to a newsletter from her fan club. Faith's previous Christmas recordings include "Where Are You Christmas," from the 2002 film, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Faith was also a guest on Josh Groban's holiday album, Noel, which was released last year. Hill will perform at the CMA Music Festival on June 6.








Mindy McCready has now been questioned by the FBI in its perjury investigation involving baseball star Roger Clemens, according to the New York Daily News, which has been closely following the case. According to the newspaper, two FBI agents interviewed Mindy in an effort to determine whether Clemens lied when he told congressional investigators he had never taken performance-enhancing drugs. Clemens denies having used steroids and human growth hormone. Mindy has not refuted reports that she and Clemens were involved in a relationship that began in 1991. Mindy will perform Thursday (June 5) during a noon concert on the opening day of the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

Taylor Swift will sing "Picture to Burn" during the season premiere of Nashville Star airing June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. CMT will rebroadcast the premiere on June 14 and will subsequently rebroadcast the episodes on Friday nights. Now in its sixth season, Nashville Star will be hosted by Billy Ray Cyrus. Jewel, John Rich and Jeffrey Steele are this season's judges.
