Scarlett Johansson like the hair, make-up and pretty dress to get on the red carpet

Actress Scarlett Johansson has admitted that nerves often get the better of her, whenever she has to make an appearance on the red carpet.

She said: "I like the getting ready part. I like the hair and the make-up and the pretty dress... It's just getting on the red carpet I just instantly flop sweat. It's a weird chemical reaction I have somehow to the red carpet. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just the carpet itself."

The star, 25, further added that she suffers a similar reaction when singing live, reports The Sydney Morning Herald. She added to US TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "I flop sweat then too. I probably need a shot to stop that." Flop sweat is nervous perspiration caused by a fear of failure before an audience.

Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johansson split rumours dismissed

hitting splitsville have been dismissed after the couple were said to be eyeing a permanent move to New York. A source close to the actress claimed the couple had reached an agreement to keep a lid on their relationship since it began in April 2007.

"People have been saying that they are on the rocks because they haven't been spotted together recently, but that's only because they are both busy working," the New York Daily News quoted the source as saying.


"She's been doing up to eight shows a week on Broadway, and he's been shooting the 'Green Lantern' in New Orleans. It's been tough, but they're making it through just fine," the source added.

Explaining the pair’s alleged plans to shift to the Big Apple, the source said: "Scarlett is extremely close to her sister, Vanessa, who lives in Chelsea, and she wants to live full-time in the city.”

She explained: "I had such a great stunt team who were unbelievably supportive. They were like, 'You can do it! Go!' And you have to believe you can do it and that's when it works.

Scarlett, 24, previously revealed she really enjoyed the physical aspects involved in her role.

'Iron Man 2' - which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke and Robert Downey Jr. - is due for release next May.

Ryan Reynold enjoyed doing nude scene with Sandra Bullock

Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, who is married to actress Scarlett Johansson, says he enjoyed filming a nude scene with Sandra Bullock for "The Proposal" because she has a great body.

"It's a good situation to be in, seeing her naked - believe me, Sandra's no slob, that's for sure,"

The 32-year-old initially worried that Sandra, 44, would back out of the scene because of nerves.

"I didn't think we'd shoot it to be honest because she's never done a head-to-toe nude scene before.

"I just thought, 'Oh she's just going along with it and once we actually get closer to it, she'll say we need to rewrite this.' No way. She was 100 percent in," he said.

Scarlett Johansson And Ryan Reynolds Are Engaged

Mutual pal and Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman recently revealed he is protective of Scarlett (they bonded working on 2006's Scoop and The Prestige) and gave Reynolds his blessing, calling him "one of the funniest guys I've ever met ... He's phenomenal."

Here we go again! Somebody new is speaking out saying that Tom “auditioned” women to be his wife and mother of his future children. According to ex-Scientologist Marc Headley after Tom's split from Penelope Cruz in 2004, the megastar told his BFF (and head of Scientology) David Miscavige that he was having trouble meeting women. So the church sent out a casting call that said, “There’s an upcoming Tom Cruise movie you might get a part in. Come for an audition.” There were of course restrictions: You had to be single, pretty and in your twenties.

While a few female Scientologists were rounded up — Traffic’s Erika Christensen and CSI: Miami's Sofia Milos — they were all rejected as Tom focused his attention on bigger stars. “They went for Jennifer Garner, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba, in that order,” Marc says. “Jennifer and Jessica didn’t bite but Scarlett took the bait and came in for an audition. When she arrived and found out it was the Scientology Center in Hollywood, she freaked out and didn’t do a tape…”

But Katie Holmes popped into the Scientologist's minds because she had previously spoken out about her crush on Tom. “They got her to L.A. and introduced her to Tom. The moment he meets her, he’s enthralled with her and he told Miscavige later, “I knew immediately she was the one,” Marc says. So according to this guy Marc, Katie Holmes became Mrs. Tom Cruise because she throught he was auditioning for a movie role. Little did she know it would be the role of a lifetime if this is true.

'The Other Boleyn Girl' had it's London premiere today and the film's stars Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson were on hand as well as Lily Allen. Lily Allen looks a bit better than she has as of late, Scarlett Johansson chose a very unflattering dress for her figure and Natalie Portman's dress was equally hideous but her makeup looked lovely.

When asked about actresses like Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman, people are usually very passionate in how they feel about them. Scarlett tries hard (but fails) at being scandalous and listening to Natalie speak is as boring as watching paint dry. The two ladies are currently on a worldwide promotion tour for their new film, 'The Other Boleyn Girl'.

Scarlett In Love With Barack Obama

Scarlett Johansson returned from the Persian Gulf with a whole lot of soldiers' trinkets and a delusion of her own engagement — to Barack Obama.

"I am engaged ... to Barack Obama," Johansson joked in an interview with The Associated Press on Thursday. "My heart belongs to Barack, and that is who I am currently, finally, engaged to. Yes."

Johansson, who showed her support for the Democratic presidential candidate at the Iowa caucus earlier this month, was really just deflecting a question about rumors she might be engaged (to actor-beau Ryan Reynolds).

I don't know if she thinks that this could actually help Barack Obama's cause, to me she just sounds like a nutjob.
