John Mayer : Twitter kill creativity

On September, John Mayer decided to leave Twitter. He seems doesn't care that he already have more than 3.7 million follower on his twitter account. Some speculation about the reason why John Mayer leaved twitter spreading on several entertainment media news. Some said that John Mayer didn't want to be hated. But finally, John Mayer said by himself that he leaved twitter on month ago because he feel that twitter killed his creativity as an artist.

"Finally, i aware that since twitter exist, people who not involve there can make a masterpiece of art that can last for a decade," John said in his blog. John Mayer assumes that since he join Twitter, he can't create something that have good quality. "All of art work that created by active people in social media proved can be a eternal art work," he continued like what quoted in Splash News.

Of course, this is only a personal opinion by John Mayer, and he seems don't want to impose his opinion to anyone else. "I don't want to blame if there is a people who look for a popularity via twitter. There are some people who need to RT (ReTweet) but for them who already have potition, this will erode their sense of art" John Mayer explained.
